Left Wing News Bias

We should look very carefully at our newspaper industry and radio & television networks in Canada. The majority of these most influential institutions concentrate almost entirely on the opinions and positions of the Liberal Party of Canada/NDP without granting due and fair promotion to that of their opponents and the present government in power, the Conservative Party of Canada.

Most distressful of all is the fact that the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), with all of the left wing influence that it exerts, is primarily financed by our hard-earned tax dollars. As such, the CBC above all others, should be a fair and balanced voice that speaks for all Canadians. It doesn’t take very long at all for a viewer with the least of politically savvy to recognize the totally left-wing bias of the CBC.

As an open-minded Conservative, I must ask, who speaks for our point of view. This is the reason for this blog. Its objective is to motivate people from all over this wonderful country of ours, from coast to coast, and sea to sea to sea, to work together through contributions to this blog to bring about desperately needed change towards equal rights within the print, radio and television media.

CTV and Global also cannot be permitted to escape our attention. Most of these media people best fit the label of commentators. They don’t warrant the title of journalists as they also mostly seek out and report from their preconceived left-wing point of view. Truly, they don’t investigate, but rather only listen to and hear what they want to hear. Seldom do they do their job to report the news, but rather do their best to shape it. If allowed to continue, God help us as to what kind of country we are going to have.

Another primary purpose for this blog is to encourage its readers to join me in writing to President of the CBC, Prime Minister Stephen Harper, and to those who are charged with the monitoring of our licensed media outlets, the Canadian Radio and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC). I think, in fairness, we should also copy news outlets throughout the media.

One message, to be repeatedly conveyed, is that the publicly funded CBC should be obliged to provide equal time for the expression of alternative points of view to that of the left-wing. CBC anchors and reporters should also represent other points of view.

Our neighbours to the south benefit greatly from media watch groups who strive to fairly judge the media. Canada needs that also, now more than ever. Let this blog contribute to this cause for Canada.

If you detect unfair coverage in the media, post your report to this blog and do your part to bring fair and balanced news coverage to our beloved Canada

  1. Excellent idea. I am continuously frustrated by newscasters whoc fail to express my conservative point of view. Steven Harper has done a marvellous job since becoming PM and deserves recognition from the media for what he has accomplished. He has been relected and deserves therespect of the media to relay his messages in the spirit in whihc they are intended.

  2. Well done -- there is no lack of examples of the partisan crowd calling themselves journalists -- good luck.

  3. Bill O'Reilly (FOX) "reality checks" media in the USA regularly, and we do need something similar here in Canada. I look forward to watching this blog unfold as a very important source of very real information.
